Ford Focus>> Management of the power unit and the fulfilled gases>> Diesel engine power supply system — a base design>> Superfluous fuel comes back back to a fuel tank
At full loading in a power supply system there is a bigger amount of fuel, than what is injected into combustion chambers. Nozzles also inject not all fuel into the combustion chamber, superfluous fuel serves for greasing and cooling of mobile parts of the pump of a high pressure and nozzles.
The Endura-DI engine has one more function which does not allow work of system of injection without fuel or work dry: as soon as the stock of fuel becomes less than two percent, the RSM block switches off the fuel pump. Nozzles have the union, connected with returnable toplivoprovody on which surpluses of fuel come back back to a fuel tank.
